"NATIONAL MEET;LAKES & DALES,JULY 1st/2nd/3rd

great trip guys, thanks to craig and jon for organising!! definitely hope to make this again next year and will take the Monday off too so I can make the full run on Sunday! Hopefully i'll get some pics and vids up here soon :driving:
 
I won best modded Z4. Sadly not Mr crevice. Just some detailing prods. Honour of winning was great.

Mrs CH thinks I've been to the Med given my suntan :)

Fantastic weekend people. Thanks to John and Craig for organising everything. The weather we had just made it that much more enjoyable.. Will definately be returning to this meet next year..

Looking forward to some pics , saw a few of you as we were driving home down the A1 . Jdm Your car looks looks really good , I tried to follow you for a bit to listen to your exhaust but got blocked by an audi that stayed behind you and the silver M for ages so gave up in the end .

Ahhhh. Was yours the silver one with the smoked rear lights? Me and Bunnyjoyrider were in the outside lane (his is the silver M). Saw you pull out to the outside lane and wondered if you were a forum member. Thanks for the complement. Yours looked really well too :D. Saw quite a few zeds on the way back, the sun must've brought them all out!!
 
Absolutely brilliant weekend all round, massive thanks to Craig and John for organising… couldn't have picked a better weekend weather-wise and some absolutely stunning roads. Very tempted to sack work off ad go back, do it all again :)

Got home last nt,around 9.30,after a truly GREAT weekend.Good company,weather and drives superb,and it was great to see friends old and new :D

Thanks to John/sammyz for organisng the drives and Thanks to everyone who came,and who made it such an enjoyable weekend. :) :driving:

For those who didnt show/couldnt make it...u missed a superb time.

As for the BMW Carclub magzn article,i will be starting on this asap(as theres just 3wks til next deadline),and it will prob be in the Sept club mag/which i will speak to the carclub about getting copies for those who want it,as its primarily a members magzn and not widely avlbl; so u can get to see the article.the mag is £5 (face value),but will post more info when i can.

If u can post/pm/e-mail me any photos u have taken,that are decent quality,for the article,cheers

i never realised it was ferrrari until i over took him on the motorway :)

To echo what others have said. A big thanks to Craig and John for organising a great event.
As a 53 year old I don't get much excitement in life but this weekend made up for it. :D Can't wait for next year.
Have a ton of very average photos which I'll post the best of here and the rest on photobucket.

2.CHRIS/REDZEDFOUR...Won the BMW WALLET,AS DONATED BY BATEMANS BMW

1.Best/most Original modified car went to PHIL/CJ10JPR...Who won T/wax Car wash;A C/P Detailing pad,and Nanomeric Wheel Seal&Protect Spray
2.Shiniest car of the day went to John M/JDM......Who won Sonax deep gloss car shampoo(super concentrate,1000ml),T/Wax bug&tar shifter and a C/P Detailing pad.
3.Special award (which i wont go into/those who were there know why :oops: ) went to John/Siftah...who won a large tub of Demon Shine and a Microfibre sponge/mitt
Congrats to all above also..and i hope every1 thought the Raffle & Prizegiving were all worthwhile :thumbsup:

I had got 2 more "prizes" to give out on the Sunday,but seeing that most of the Sunday only ppl didnt show,and qt a few had to leave throughout the day/to travel home/i have put these away for next time,cheers

Number 2 went to me for shinyest (is that how you spell it?) car and won some Sonax car shampoo, Some Turtle Wax debugger (which is really needed after the weekends antics) and a detailing pad.. I was also presented with an 'M' Smartprice tin opener, not quite sure what the reason for this was for though... I didnt bring any tins with me? :poke:
