Yeah,siftah,the weathers been pretty awful here too,so havnt been able to get my new lights installed in the last 2/3 weeks :thumbsdown:

Looking forward to this meet(and any more i can make before this 1). More ppl camping this time,and should be a few more cars/ppl than last yr too,which should be good,all going well :thumbsup: :driving:

Not at all,Ross,i just have had qt a few pm's to go through just now(and wasnt on yesterday).
Are you bringing ur Brother or other half? if so pm me some names,as i put these against the pitches.
I will need to double check who is already down for Waters edge(the bbq one),as spaces there are pretty full,tho i have secured more spaces at Little Acres(rt across the road).

UPDATE...I have now sent/paid a deposit to W/Edge for all space they have,and have now reserved TEN sapeces at Little Acres,across the road,which i should be able to increase ,if need be(owner will make more room for us if necessary).

Any1 who is on down as staying at W/Edge i will be pm-ing soon,as i will be looking for £10 for the 2nts deposit,cheers.

As mentioned before u pay the balance at w/edge nearer the time,while ltl acres u pay direct at the time of stay(just how they both work).

On this note,can every1 try to limit your tent sizes to either 2man or 3 man,where at all possible,as thisallows us to maximise the number of tents we can have in(rather than 2 ppl staying in a 4/6man tent,unless willing to share,lol)
 
Hi Craig & all,

I've not been on here for ageeesss as at the end of last year I was very busy with moving house, starting new work, getting settled in with everything, meeting new people etc so had little time to get online & got out of the habit of coming onto the site, and during this time I also sold my Z4 :( (now got a 335i Coupe).

So as it stands I won't be able to go, but I have my car for sale now and as I miss my Z4 may get another and in that case I'll be at the meet as it was great last year :D
 
How do Craig. U can put me and Vic down for the wknd if ud be so kind? I presume the best camping spots (i.e. Pub and BBQ) have been snaffled up?

jimbo1958 (St.Grey 3.0i R)....................FRI/SAT/SUN (CAMPING)

Haven't been camping for about 35 years so I'm gonna need some help.
Will a cheapo tent from Halfords do. I've got an inflatable bed so will just need a sleeping bag.
Also will I need a camping stove.....I do like a cuppa at every oppurtunity.
Would appreciate a list of the minimum I'll need.

I hadnt been camping for ages either,when i went last yr,and i just borrowed a 2man tent from a mate,that came with a ground sheet,etc and was fairly straight forward to put up.
A Compressor/smaal air pump, is handy for the air bedand a camping stove as u said...
i am sure someone more knowledgable about camping will answer in more detail,but a halfords tent is not a bad thing,espcly when on sale.
Will add your name (is ur wife coming too?)

Hey guys iam bringing along the missis and unfurturnly she dosnt like spirited driving :( will there be a more conservitve driving group we could tag on to.
Or should i try and put her off which may be a little dificult.
 
Jonnyfive, depending on the final numbers we may split into two groups, but I'd describe the pace as 'spirited' which is why my better half won't be coming along!

Tell her she can come in the 'M' at the front and set the pace with me :evil:

i should think your missis is not alone, it would be nice to have a scenic route for the other halfs
