Hi Craig,

We will not be going this time cos my work colleague already booked holiday the same weekend :headbang:

We did thoroughly enjoy the convoy around the lake and the moors last year for the first time, thanks Craig and Co for organising the great national meet :driving:  We will definitely going next year and we will book a week between the first and the second weekend to be on the safe side :D

We are thinking of going to Silverstone Classic :driving: :)

Alright alright, see how you guys fair leading the pack not as easy as it sounds.

No, it sure isn't, Tom.....as John and many others on here will know all too well.......though that road won the prize for the worst road we shouldn't have taken, ha-ha.
It didn't worry me driving through that road cos it reminded me of home (Cornwall)

Craig32,
Newbie looking to attend my first "National Meet". Thanks for organising this, appreciate the effort involved.
I live near Richmond North York's so intend to (at least) attend Sunday and if I can get my pass out Saturday as well.
Where are you intending to travel on the Sunday across from the lakes...i.e. where could I intercept the meet...is the route already defined??
Names John and I am the proud owner of a Titanium Silver '07 3.0Si Roadster with Navy nappa and perfectly original as it left the factory! :)

Name now off the list...hopefully next time :driving:

Well, I've just booked the Crooklands again for Friday and Saturday night. I'll be a definite for the meal on Friday as well! As always I'm happy for someone else to lead the cars for part of the route on Saturday or Sunday. ( er maybe not Tom the hedgehopper :) )

I'm just tinkering with the routes but we'll keep to the same general formula as before. Lakes Saturday and Dales/Moors Sunday!

Great news John......look forward to seeing you again Pal.

in regards to the running of the routes.. can I make a suggestion that seems to work well for the motorbike meets I go on?

couple or three cars in the pack all who know the route, have walkie talkies.
if there's any separation, they can get in touch with the others and advise on waiting / regrouping?

mobiles are ok - but signal quality up in them thar hills can be a bit on the flakey side?
