Regards the Football, Friday/Saturday, I am assured there are TVs at the Hotel and Campsite that we will be able to watch.
And, speaking to Waters edge, they are getting lovely, scorching hot weather the same as I am in Sunny Ayrshire,it's been warm all week in Kendal and is set to continue over the Weekend, according to locals, lol.
Where we go on our drives should be ok too, hopefully.
Weather will be fine, no point worrying about it. We have had more wet BBQ’s than drives over the year.
Good news on the TV for Saturday night Craig. :D

I only remember one particularly wet BBQ, usually we have done ok.
Hopefully it will be fine,we all will be fed I am sure.
Not worried at all,lol.

Just a wee post Re The SATURDAY NIGHT BBQ....
It's held at the Waters edge Caravan park, outside in designated, stone built BBQ stations.

For those who haven't been before,
I cook The Food, helped by others as and when needed, each year, and everyone is always fed. There's always food left over.

We collect £6 from everyone wanting to attend the BBQ,which covers All Food, usually 2 Burgers per person, Sausages, and a Bit of chicken,All salad, sauces, plates, cutlery(plastic), and Snacks such as Peanuts,Crisps and if needed,we have Vegetarian options too.( We will ask on this)

The £6 per person also covers BBQ coals,Utensils etc that is needed to cook it all.

Not bad value,I think.

Re Drinks on Saturday night at BBQ.....
Usually we go to the Onsite Bar ,but as last year,it's Still Closed due to Covid restrictions.

So,it's a case of Bring your own Drinks, either with you,or buy them from Asda etc in Kendal (10 minutes away), After the Drives finished, and we have collected all the BBQ money from everyone.
Please don't disappear for drinks or whatever, before paying BBQ money,or else you won't get food,lol....we need All money before we go to get it,
Thanks

Hopefully this answers anyone's questions, for those who haven't been before, and who we look forward to meeting for the first time, cheers

It's only going to be a couple of showers,at most, according to AccuWeather, which us s where I look every meet/year,and they are fairly accurate, lol.

Hopefully it will be nice, dry and sunny :driving: :D

Hopefully if you see any rain it’ll just be passing showers

I hope the weather does hold out for you all and you have a cracking weekend :driving:

You should run your new z in Andy,by coming along for the weekend,or even one day at least , be good to see you :driving:

Also,we don't have any new shape z4's this year.
Had one two years ago,on loan from dealer,in lovely frozen Orange, and one pulled out from last yet,due to Covid, but none down this year. Pity

Hopefully meet you at a drive soon,Andy

Too much on just now Craig, next job finding accommodation for 2 daughters going to Uni in separate cities, flat viewings will be the order of the day for the next wee while.

For a minute, I thought you'd put cling-film on your passenger seat/headrest for some strange reason..but when I zoomed in I could see the window was up and it was just a reflection

Hi Craig. Unfortunately once again due to various circumstances I won't be able to come along on either Saturday or Sundays drives. I'm still planning to attend your Perth run in September so will hopefully see you then.
Hope you all have a great weekend,
Si
