Just got this booked in with the Hotel and also the Campsite for next year,so putting it out there,for those wanting to come,in 2021.


For those who haven't been before_the General outline of the week is
A Friday Night meal,drinks in the bar,and a wee chat/get together,
Before our Saturday Drive round the Lake district area,which is generally more Scenic and relaxed of the two days Driving...followed by a Saturday night BBQ At the Campsite next to the Hotel.

Sunday is the more Spirited/Driver focused of the 2 drives,and is in the Yorkshire Dales area,on some very enjoyable driving roads.

So,if this sounds like something you would enjoy,in the company of fellow z forum members,let me know on here,and I will put your names down :thumbsup:

P.s,Accommodation is in Crooklands Hotel,and bookings are made initially with me,then Confirmed with the Hotel thereafter(you need to give Credit card info,to hold your Room). Rooms are at a forum,Discounted rate,and Include Full Breakfast.

The Hotel have relevant Covid-19 measures in place.

Also,I have block booked he Campsite,Which again,you pm me/post on here if you want Camping,and I take £10 Deposits in January (2021).

SO PLEASE DON'T BE LATE,AS WE HAVE A SLIGHTLY LONGER DRIVE ON THE SATURDAY THAN RECENT YEARS,AND WE WANT TO GET BACK FOR THE BBQ ETC.
ALSO,CAN EVERYONE PLEASE HAVE A FULL TANK OF FUEL BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE CROOKLANDS HOTEL CAR PARK.
THERE'S A PETROL STATION JUST A FEW MINUTES ALONG THE ROAD,BUT IF YOU NEED SUPER UNLEADED, LIKE MYSELF AND A FEW OTHERS,YOU NEED TO GO TO SHELL/ESSO,ETC. IN KENDAL,ABOUT A 10 MINUTES DRIVE AWAY FROM THE CROOKLANDS,
SO PLEASE FACTOR THIS INTO YOUR PLANS FOLKS,THANKS :thumbsup:

SUNDAY DRIVE,MEET/START TIME IS 9.30 A.M TO BE LEFT BY 10A.M SHARP.

AS WITH SATURDAY, AT CROOKLANDS HOTEL CAR PARK, KENDAL....AND HAVE A FULL TANK OF FUEL ON ARRIVAL AT CROOKLANDS, CHEERS

ALSO,WE CANT IGNORE THE TIMES WE LIVE IN,WITH AN ONGOING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC....WITH THIS IN MIND,CAN EVERYONE PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MASK AS PER GOVERNMENT'S GUIDLINES AND PER POLICIES OF PLACES WE WILL BE EATING ETC.

GOOD NEWS IS, HAVING SPOKE TO THE NEW OWNERS, ALL OTHER STAFF,EXCEPT GEMMA AND HER HUSBAND VIVECK, ALL OTHER STAFF ARE STAYING, INCLUDING THE CHEFS.

(Just helps us sort Lunch and toilet stoops,and get an idea of numbers).

Usually 9/9.30am,for a 9.45/10a.m set off,after a chat about the day ahead,cheers :driving:
 
Hi Craig
Please put me down for both Saturday and Sunday drives. I won't need any accommodation thanks. I may chop & change a bit closer to the weekend. Fingers crossed the world has resumed some form of normality by then and the summer sun smiles down on us :)
