Opinions welcome.

All stacked with options, not fussed on colour.

The BMW AUC is cheap if you consider it has 12 month warranty and a hardtop which you could get around £800 for if you didn't want, so would probably be the one I would go for considering it has everything else I would want.

Does the BMW warranty mean I can take it back to any BMW dealer if there is an issue?

Presume that is excess free?

Yes and Yes

I wouldn`t pay any more than 17.5K personally. Mine is a simillar age/spec/mileage and I`ve had 5 starting trade in bids of 14-15K in the last fortnight, 1 of these rised to 16K and 2 of them to 17K when really pushed but I`d say a grand of that was coming off their car.

I'd go for the black one too. AUC & 12 months warranty, hardtop and all the options. I love the black/imola combination

Definitely black one mostly because of 1yr warranty which in itself is worth close to 1k, plus being an M it would be better to have it so if there is any problems u can get it sorted under warranty. Also hard top is worth having or else i'm sure come winter time most people would try to buy it off u. Good luck. specs more or less similar.

Only BMW Approved ones at that price have done nearly 50k or have little or no options.

This black one is relatively cheap compared to others on the approved list.

All cars with Sat Nav are £19k anyway. Even on pistonheads without warranty.

Anyone want to have a punt at what I could get knocked off these? Especially the black one?

If your set on the Black one I`d look to offer 18K, if they refuse to budge tell them a friend spoke to 2 different Stratstone BMW dealers (Tyneside and Hull) last week and was offered 14K and 14.3K respectively for an identically specced(minus hardtop)/year/mileage car in Interlagos Blue that`s still under a BMW AUC warranty and refused to budge at all.

Never seen a sapphire black M with hardtop before... Looks pretty good but i couldnt deal with the loss of roof down winter fun. I'd pick thAt up and flog the top separately for sure. BMW have a 30 day no fuss returns on auc too so you're laughing. At 19k I can't see them shifting much on price given it must be at the lower end for the dealer network. Never know though, mine came down 4k when I walked out and waited. It's risky as you could lose out but very satisfying to get to a realistic price and have full dealer support :)

I think they're all over priced, but I would personally go for the blue one if I could get them to knock off around £700+.

About 18k on the black- if you are going to finance through them then u can get a smaller GFV or less interest. Good luck,, if you are paying full cash abotu 18k but maybe if you like it and if tyres are very good get a deal on servicing etx which is always worth it. cheers

+1 get it cheaper as less mileage and hardtop not needed with a Z4. I'm on my second now and first one came with one which was a pain to shift as they leak so persoanlly just save the money upfront - if you dont ask you dont get!

All 'look' good to me but the test is a visual inspection and thorough check. If you've got cash then time to offer silly money for the one of your choice and see what happens. good luck.
