Nankang NS-2 Tyres

Hi just wondering if anyone has any experience of these tyres?

I have had nankang tyres before on a previous car and was happy with them (astra turbo, went around the ring with them also) but cant remember what model of nankang they were, so wondering if the ns-2 which always appear on searches would be advisable for the z4?

Apparentley they produce these tyres from an old bridgestone factory, not sure how much the truth is in this however? My old nankangs handled 240bhp well in the astra...

Normally i would just get the nankangs but there that much talk everywhere about 452's and the Vredestein's etc...

I always like to try things for myself and some of the lesser know tyres have been ok for me in the past....

I think the current bridestone tyres are'nt anything special, can see budget performance tyres being that much worse?

I think half the people who bang on about tyres on forums just jump on band wagons so wanted anyones experience of these or similar tyres, not speculation.

the 452's are well respected by lots of other owners of other makes and models, i cant profess to know much on tyres but all my research led to them being good, and they are and a good price too. ive had vredestiens on my last car, an ibiza sport, and they too were very good. go with what your happy with, but the words budget and performance do not belong together in my eyes.
