N52B25 Oil filter tool

Hi Folks

Can anyone confirm that the 86mm oil filter tool is the correct one for the Sdrive 2.3 N52B25 engine? I think the engine is the basis of the Sdrive3.0. I imagine it should be the same?

Hi Tintiverano,

No I don't know the oil filter sealing ring. I know there are 2 oil filter rings - a small one at the end of the oil filter cover and the bigger one on the end of the threads. These usually always come supplied with any decent filter from a respectable supplier. The torque is 25Nm for the cover when refitting the oil filter cover...
