N52 Oil Temperature

I wondered if anyone knows the average range for the oil temperature on a 3.0l N52 ?

My car usually runs 100-110 degrees but I noticed in this hot weather it up to 120.

What you have described is normal.

That's interesting. So it seems like they run hotter than the E85/6 M cars, as mine hasn't reached 100 degrees even in hot weather.

I didn't know about the N52 in my previous E86 as it only showed water temperature!

Yes this thing really does run hot, I can't even open the driver's door with the engine running the heat coming from the engine bay is like an oven! Add to the 33 odd degrees that we are having right now I have remind myself not to open the door with the engine on!
