N52 oil filter housing removal tool

Hi all, I plan on doing an oil change on the weekend but don't have a removal tool for the filter housing. Is there any other "solutions" I can use. If not does someone have one I can borrow? Will pay for postage etc and will return once finished.
 
I think they're only about £6 on Amazon. Mine was really cheap and delivered next day. It's manufactured by "Laser". They list it as BMW N52 on Amazon but when it arrives it only states Volvo on it or something like that but it did the job perfectly.
 
buy one, there only a few quid. Even if you ordered online you`d get it on time

sure i read some where removing it with a jubilee clip, or a old style band one or clamp, just dont scratch it or clamp on too tight
 
Thanks all. Thought it would be more expensive than that. Probably cheaper than posting one too. I'll get on and buy it now so it arrives on time.
 
Wooo, arrived today at work and a quick cheeky visit to the car park and it fits. The oil change is on!
 
On the N46 undid mine by hand mind you it was pretty tight, make sure you don't over tighten as can damage o-ring seal and cause leaks.
