N52 New cylinder head date?

When did BMW change the cylinder head on the N52 engine? Just wondered if I can check if mine has then newer head or the old one prone to lifter problems?
 
Mine was built mid 2008 and it had the old head only the very last few probably got it fitted at the factory
 
Was this resolved with the E89 as I think the 3.0 in the E89 is also an N52? I ask because I px'ed my E86 Coupe in December for an E89 with a 3.0 engine...

this was sorted before the E89, and as you say it's a N52

Mine was built June 2008 H V A 's changed ,no issues since .Was the head definitely altered ? if so what was done to cure potential probs.

I guess there is no real guarantee just because of build date then. I don't think I have noticed any problems with mine yet, hope it stays that way.
