N52 DISA replacement (sourcing parts in Lockdown)

Hi All,

Looking to clear a couple of fault codes from my N52 3.0Si (March 06) whilst lockdown is still on.

The two codes showing are:
2AAC
2AA9

As I understand it- the disa replacement would sort these codes?

This thread seems to suggest it’s a straightforward replacement.

I’ve read varying reports of quality of spare parts for this. Does any one have any recommendations for a suitable replacement part?

Replacing it is very easy if it's anything like the pre-facelift cars - takes minutes.
I bought an "x8r" disa refurb kit off ebay for mine, really simple job
 
Hi Cremeegg, thanks for the reply? Do you have an M54 or N52? I read that the N52 valve is more robust so perhaps it’s the servo itself?
 
I have the M54 so the DISA has a pin that breaks, not an issue I don't think with the N52 cars.
Not sure on what specific DISA issues that engine has I'm afraid, someone else might pipe up with some insight hopefully!
