Hello

Sean went into Pilgrims Hospice yesterday for a pain relief assessment. In true fighting spirit Sean refused to stay in any longer, opting for home care.
Naturally I support Sean all of the way and will do my absolute best to make him comfortable.

We were both drumming to the music on radio on the way home!

Sean has a slow pain release patch on his chest and they have upped his current meds replaced tablets with liquid. Sean’s is finding it difficult to swallow so everything is via his stomach peg now.

His eyes have swollen, one is nearly closed. This is due to the tumour squeezing the lymph node and stopping drainage. Stupid tumour needs to leave Sean alone

On a brighter note we got to use the Blue Disability Card today, parking at the hospice.

Hi Melanie, please pass on my best to Sean, we have been “big c” buddies on Whattsapp for a while now (I am Kevan), but he’s probably not up to responding at present, like many others on here I am still constantly thinking of him. The banter and humour we have exchanged has helped keep us both going over the last few months, again if you need anything just shout… my number is in Sean’s phone .
