Been going through some old post and N52 Water pump issues mentioned alot, kicking in
at around the 60K mark.

I am approaching 54K, should i start to be getting concerned and keeping an eye on it?

Did a search, does not throw up any real issues for E89's unless i have missed something.

Different , later design of engine…no evidence I saw of an endemic failure point…so I’d run it till it fails…and/or wait till 80k ish miles and do the thermostat and accessory belt at the same time…

My car 96k miles, no cooling issues.
Can understand that hotter climates probably put a strain on plastic components.

Did notice air con pump is noisy though, noticed as i rarely use it.

That may have something to do with it.

Car a/c should be run for a good few minutes every month at least; keeps all the seals and internals lubricated.
Biggest cause of refrigerant leaks is lack of use.
