N. Wales Run - 28.04.19, PHOTO NEWS !

Any chance the routes will be shared publicly? I can't make it this year but would love some local knowledge on good roads so I can make my own trip?

PM me your email address after the 28th April and I'd be happy to send you links to the route on Google Maps

blimey this is like the secret society, stop at the 3rd dead letter box, on the left, past the roadkill.

It may seem like that, but what you don't want is people gate crashing your carefully organised event..

It takes an enormous amount of effort to set up,manage and deliver these runs..

Whilst people have a right and their reasons to change their minds, its hard work for the organiser juggling the logistics, especially when people say they are coming and then just don't turn up without letting the run leader know..

So unannounced opportunists just compound the stresses of the run leader and don't necessarily help the rest of the group..all IMHO!

Listen carefully I shall say this only once ...

I will be at the meet point wearing a fedora, overcoat with a carnation in my left breast pocket and carrying a copy of yesterday’s Times rolled up under my right arm .. note my right arm. In my left hand, to distinguish me from all the other fedora weirdos I will be dangling a Zed key

Love Smiley and Karla

Absolutely Peter  Also if the start/finish points, en-route stops and the route itself are openly and freely shared about prior to the day/day before the run then this could also lead to some unwanted 'attention' from the 'boys in blue' :(

UPDATE: * 3 PLACES NOW AVAILABLE * Anyone that wants to join us, you're more than welcome :driving: :D

IMPORTANT : Would you all please check your emails on the evening of Friday 26th April for details of the start point/time etc and for links to the 3 sections of the route on Google Maps. Please ensure that either yourself or your passenger have these downloaded on a mobile phone for guidance on the day. At the same time I will also put this information on the '2019 Z4 North Wales Run' WhatsApp Group. If you haven't joined the group already then send a PM to Attilio and he will then invite you to join

Probably early evening for me, not sure if I will eat there or somewhere else before making my way to the hotel. Either way I'll likely be in the bar for 7 or 8pm for a few beers!

I will be there early to mid afternoon and in the bar around 8pm probably for my free pint I won  Although it's so long ago I forgot who :D

Were getting there around 4ish. Probably eat at the pub attached. Think they do a combined meal, drink and breakfast deal. Not long to go now :driving:

Likewise will be there mid/late afternoon

Deal is about £25 if I recall correctly

Just a quick heads-up that if you are intending to dine at the Oswestry Premier Inn 'Oswalds Cross Restaurant' on the Saturday evening that it is advisable to book a table even if you have already paid for a Meal Deal whilst booking your room. My wife Alison phoned earlier this evening just to check and was told it 'advisable' to reserve a table as it will still be school holidays locally and Saturday evening is usually busy anyway
