Agree, could have been much worse for him & know he will be gutted; but no personal injuries which is what matters.

The margin of difference between a 'moment' & 'incident' is extremely slim & we have all skated that margin I bet!

However 888s or not, you could see the leaves & gravel before committing

Are the tyres really that shocking in the damp that even 4WD fails to find traction, wow!?
 
I never turn my traction control off. I had some scary moments but never felt out of control and like to think I gave the other cars a run and Peppermint and me lost some of them on the longer straights....
 
Anyway, what happened happened and it was a good run regardless. I must find my way up to the front next time though :driving:
