Mytyres review Very poor customer service

I have finally received paypal email that refund has been made. Still no funds as yet in account. Patience is a virtue.
Its still very poor customer service waiting over 3 weeks for a refund.
I have kicked such a stink up with mytyres they finally refunded.

Glad things appear to be getting sorted. You seem to have received some poor service or confusion over taking and refunding payments, but it's par for the course when cancelling orders and mixing up payment between seller, Ebay and Paypal.

I do however, based upon personal good experience of using them, and others who have posted here consider the thread title a little alarmist and unduly harsh.

I got my winter tyres last year from mytyres(direct)

The only issue i had was my front came from the leicester depot and my rears from lichfield..... So arrived on different days (even though it was the same order).

But i guess thats more DHL's problem.

Still the cheapest and as they came from Germany very quick turnaround.

Glad it seems to be moving on now... eBay and Paypal are normally more responsive (being on the seller end) i have had my received money taken out immediately and my account suspended as soon as a buyer complains... Regardless of fault.

They also seem to trade via ebay....

The call center which seems to be in the far east somewhere told me that I had to deal with my particular complaint via ebay and they couldn't help me.
The price I paid was the cheapest I could find at the time.
As I have finally received my £500 I have toned down the post subject.

Unfortunately I have had the same problem as You.

My tyres stole money from my bank account. There is no way they should have kept my card details for a one off transaction but they did. So a warning to everyone, this is a company that without your permission will and do steal from you.
They duplicated an on line order. I called them and cancelled the order. They confirmed by email that it was cancelled. Then I am told that they sent the order and if I didn't return it they would invoice me. Remember that - they would invoice me. Not steal from me. I never saw the duplicate order and have no idea who signed for it as it was sent to a commercial premises where I was working the previous week In another city. They actually expected me to go back to another city and track down the possible shift worker who signed for the tyre and then find the tyre. Then they expected me at my cost to ship it back to them.
I DIDNT ORDER THE BLOODY TYRE.
I CANCELLED IT.
THEY CONFIRMED I CANCELLED IT.
NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY ITS THEIRS.

So now they have stolen the money to pay for their mistake and unless I am prepared to run around the UK looking for their tyre I am £275 out of pocket for the tyre, plus God knows how many hours of my time driving around, I am self employed so I will be losing my income and I have to pay for shipping it back. And from the other reviews I have read the chances of seeing a refund should I go to all this trouble is very remote.

Personally as I am a big chap and I am very very annoyed, I may just run a directors report on your company from my webcheck (companies house) and sod looking for the tyre, I might just go to one of the directors homes and knock on their doors and get my money back and expenses directly from them.

What do you directors think of that? All your details are there to see at companies house or did you forget that when you decided to steal my money?
As far as I am concerned you are nothing short of thieves and the best way to deal with you is to confront you face to face on your door step with your family around you. Don't think I will ever let this drop as I won't. Nothing worse in life than a thief. The Arabs have the best way of dealing with your type. Chop your bloody hands off.

That's a top rant.... Made my day reading it.

Just call your cc company, state the facts and in 10 minites the money will be recredired by them.

Absolutely the best advice, assuming it was paid using credit and not debit card.

Visa debit card was used. Asked the bank and they said they would ask my tyres first before refunding. As they are a set of low life scum bags I can't see them telling the truth either.
Luckily I always keep written proof of everything and I can show that they are the muppets that made the mistake but that still means I will have to wait for my money and still means I have to waste my time doing so.

Oh I never said I was going to wipe out from the face of the Earth the directors. However, you would be amazed in the absence of any customer services how a director can make a sensible decision if confronted on his/her own doorstep with the little ones running around and a really pis*** off chap stood in the front door

My bank gave me my money back when I presented them with the documents and facts. Way to go Nationwide :D

Glad you got it sorted. As posted contacting the bank was all you had to do to get it sorted.

Yeah the bank has me the money but now they are telling me to pay up or return a tyre I never had. They are persistent buggers so I have sent them a statement of costs if they continue to harass me. Something should be done about this company they shouldn't be allowed to chase people when the problem is theirs and theirs alone. Complete muppets
