Mystery wire

I removed the rear bumper today still trying to chase down an airbag light and found this wire that use to have something on the end of it, does this look familiar to anyone?
Perhaps an impact sensor? 16ga plain copper wire. The bumper had previously been removed for a repaint at some point in the past.
Thanks.

Thanks guys, looks like half of my antenna is missing, I guess I could just solder on a longer piece. Can't say the FM reception is bad as it is.
I'll keep hunting for the airbag culprit, thought I had found it there for a minute.

Not teaching you to suck eggs :D but have you used e.g IMPA to narrow down the exact source of your airbag light?

I haven't gone the INPA route yet (that's next) but my Creator C501 reader places the last code to fix at the main battery cable coming off the battery.
However, that cable is good, the charge hasn't blown. I have read a number of times that a fault in the system may not be where the code places it so all components of the airbag system need to be checked.
That's why the bumper is off, I thought perhaps there was an impact sensor back there.
