Yes they are a hell of a job to get out, took me two days with heat and eventually a air hammer drill to drift what was left of the studs out and that was after cutting a slot across the flange so the stud hole had a release of pressure. Replaced mine with stainless bolts and nuts, replaced the gaskets when refitted. If you resort to air hammer take the exhaust sensor out before you start, vibration shocks killed mine and that had to be replaced.
