OK, well - some stupid m*&^%$ f@!&* @ss*%@* b@*$%#^ saw fit to open their g*&&%$* door on the right rear fender just behind my tank cap. Luckily for me, my tenants' son is a body man at BMW and is doing all the work for me :D . He decided to go ahead and re-do the front bumper seeing how it was all scratched up when I bought it, and also to remove the dings and dents in the passenger side door. It goes to the paint bay on Sunday. The plus side to all this is my dents are gone, it turned out really nice. The down side is I know that no matter how great the paint job comes out, you will ALWAYS be able to tell (especially if you have OCD), and I look for stuff like that . Then there's the added PITA of not having the Z to drive during GA's most beautiful time of the year. I'm trying to stay positive about all this and focus on the fact that the bad dent (which I didn't have a chance to take a picture of before my friend started on it - sorry guys), is gone and my front looks fantastic. Here are the pics y'all, I was pretty freaked out when I saw it and immediately went straight to the shop refrigerator and grabbed one these :drinking: ...just look at my baby :cry:

Glad to see that he was able to fix that dent it, looked pretty bad when I saw it. At least it will be done for The Dragon run, if you are still planning on going :D
 
thanks guys, when it rains it pours I suppose. The 2nd to the last picture actually is the one that best shows the damage on my front fender - but those are all gone and it looks new...I'm SO paranoid about that paint job not being perfect, which they never are...*sigh*...I need beer :|
 
ovrkll, what the hell am I doing wrong w/the pic posting? Has anything here changed regarding posting pics? I'm doing what I've always done and it isn't working :scratchhead:
 
Sorry to hear about the damage. Speakin o which, I'm thinking about swapping my front bumper (has nicks out of the paint from rocks) in favor of one of the Hamann front bumpers. Anyone wanna donate money to the expensive bumpers fund?
 
Darn! Makes me angry when people are not careful when opening their doors. I am always careful not to damage other people's property :x
 
AJ ... at least you have had the pleasure of seeing them 'in the flesh', us Brits have to make do with a photo!!
