If you go for it, don't go for a solid colour as that will never look as good as paint, go for something unusual that you could never do with a painted finish - like one of the carbon fibre wraps or something off-the-wall like the cow...

i'm not going to lie, it looks amazing. doesn't give off a nice reflection unlike paint, but still looks fresh.
 
Ok guys lets calm down!! I don't think Mr Essex needs any help spending his rad earned!!

If its what you want do it but please not white like every other car!! The BMW frozen colours look good I love the red. And I have seen a mat silver very tempted with that myself. And you would get away with the door shuts and things?

But I think Ben G is right your OCD will go nuts!! No polishing!!! You would have to buy another car to clean.nor drive to Oxford every week and do mine :thumbsup:

3-5 years so with me 5 years easy as will be a weekend car by next year, no value but what mods do :wink:

purple zilla looked good on evo, and he said the paintwork was great when he took it off to sell it
 
I was gonna get mine wrapped, quoted £1600 incl c/fibre interior, recently. Matt grey.
Decided to go for a full respray instead but not decided on the colour yet. If you want to turn heads, wrapping is one way of doing it. Don't have to inform DVLA either, as it's classed as a sticker! :)

who said anything about making money??
When you mod you lose money usually as the mods cost more then what it would increase car value or the resale value of the mod once your done with it...with a wrap its just like throwing £1,500 down the pisser.... few people will buy a car with a wrap on incase the bodywork underneath is a complete mess

But unless its done properly, including the shut lines it will look pants especially as your colour is silver.

and is a bit ugly and looks like someone had an old car with a botchy paint job, and so put elastoplast all over it?
