My Zed wrapped????

Avoid a matt colour. Absolute PITA to look after as all the care applies as with paint.

Said before, and I'll echo it, it'll never be as good as a paint job, considering both are similar money.

If you had your heart set on a wrap...check out 3M's brushed steel. The look is certainly very unique!

It's either unique or it's not... you can't have degrees of uniqueness
 
Go for it!!!

Take detailed dated photos of each body panel before you wrap so the next buyer knows the paint is in excellent condition! 8)
 
I have a coupele of mates who have had wraps and they have looked ok..

One has a brushed stainless Range rover and its certainly eye catching..;)
 
Bring it up north and get my mate to do it. Shouldn't cost anywhere near that!

Pearl white is a fantastic colour! My friend did a Bentley in it a few week back, looks fantastic, so many flips to the colour like a real pearl
 
The frozen blue is my fave in solid colour so far and the art car is V cool.

But I agree that a wrap should be wacky.

Could you do rat car rust or something classic and arty, a reclining nude?
 
Gloss white is a pure white. A bit like gloss paint you put on skirting board.
Pearl as a metal flake that sparkles.

You never given a girl a pearl necklace???? :poke:

My advice if you're serious, google it or go see totally dynamic who are near you and see for yourself
 
Go for it but don't do a "like normal paint" colour - what's the point?

Remember seeing one of the drift series cars with a chrome wrap a few seasons ago - that looked just amazing !
 
Perl white looks stunning my friend used to have an NSX in perl white (with a red interior)

However dont think a perl white wrap will cut it... Has to have a deep shine, which the wrap wont give.

From anecdotal evidence, if you think it's going to look as though the car's been resprayed a different colour, I think that you'll soon be disappointed as the wrap quickly stops looking like nice, fresh paint - small nicks and scuff marks show up too easily, you can't really polish the wrap to keep it looking fresh and the eye is drawn to any imperfections in large areas of the same colour (think how stone chips on the bonnet leap out at you). This is why patterned wraps look good for longer - the patterns/pictures are much better at hiding the scuffs and other damage that will inevitably happen.

If you want to go for a wrap, you've either got to accept that the look of a plain wrap will go downhill rapidly as soon as it starts to pick up wear & tear marks, or you've got to be a little more creative in your thinking - there are so many things that you can do with a wrap that you just can't do with paint.
