Well. I have sold my 2006 Si roadster. Got 10,850 for it. Should be collected by the new owner in the next few days/Weekend. I will of course highly recommend that he join this forum. The Zed will be his play car. He is an Army dentist with 18 month old twins. :o Yikes. I hope he can find a few minutes every now and then to drive it.

So out with the old.

Then it looks like I'll be off to merry old England (Charnock Richard, Lancashire) to visit Mr. Abbas' classic cars. Hopefully to seal a deal on the BRG Caterham he has for sale. The Caterham has been owned by the head mechanic for Mr. Abbas for quite some time. So it has been very well looked after.

Then in with the even older.

You'll have some fun in the Caterham. What engine's in it?

1.6 X-Flow supersprint spinning a 5 speed. Probably 120-130 HP. But that can always be changed in the future.

Well done bigdog. If when you're over collecting her, and you're passing through the midlands/peak district, then let me know and I'll buy you a pint of some good stuff!

Thanks for the offer. I might just have that pint.

But rather than collecting the car. Mr Abbas will have it shipped to Germany. But. Even thought the car appears to be top drawer. I still want to look at it in person before committing to the purchase. Hence the trip. If it doesn't pass muster. I'll look at the DAX that's near me.

I fly into Stansted, get a hire car and drive up to stay with some friends in Harrogate for a few days (or so) may as well play tourist for a bit. I'll post you a heads up.

I bought my first Z4 when my twins were 2, should be time for the odd drive or two :driving:

The Zed will join it's new family on the 1st of Nov. I will be flying to merry olde England on Monday the 4th to look at the Caterham. Then back to Germany on Friday. Hopefully the weather won't be to awful. If not. I'll just put on the gore-tex and go.

The new owner has been told to join this group. OR ELSE.

Cheers
