After 4 years and 3 months of ownership my 30i will be going to a new home next weekend.

I'm taking the plunge and buying an Aston. A 2008 V8 Vantage Roadster (n400 ltd edition).
I don't plan on using it as a daily so I've just bought an old Yaris.
I'll post some pics of the Aston when I get her.
I've enjoyed being a forum member, received some useful advice over the years and met some nice people.

Wow very nice that's a bit of a trade up indeed  stunning car, I bet you can't wait?
what about the daily though are you going to cope :poke: :D
We need to see piccys of them both, I hope you enjoy them :driving:
one more than the other obviously

We need pics. The Vantage is a beautiful car.

That is a fair jump in car price too. I never had the confidence to buy one as the running costs worried me.

Congrats.

I can't wait, driving the wife mad
Just hope the weather is good next Sunday

In the meantime here is a video of one

Black like mine will be. The N400 was available in two other colours Orange and Silver

Well I think the Yaris looks very tidy and for £600 absolute bargain :)
But OMG the Aston    no wonder your driving the wife mad, well I hope the weather holds out next Sunday so you can have the roof down on the way back with it
watch out for those speed cameras :poke:

It's an amazing car but I would swap the Halfords style rear lights for the pre-facelift red ones. One day I'll have a manual V12 Vantage S....

Here is the Aston
Epic noise!

Engine was a bit grimey when i got it , so gave that a good clean

Had 5 previous owners, done 47,500 miles
FSH
First owner had it in Portugal for 2 years
Cost £102k in May 2008
Mine is number 40/240 made of the N400 roadster
And one of 44 manuals made
It feels bigger than the Zed but as cars go I don't think it's that big

Stunning car OP.

I can see why you were tempted away from your Z4 - enjoy. :driving:

I just hope you don't find the Yaris too tedious!

When I got my Z4 I bought a 1996 Mazda 323f for sensible daily use - that lasted 6 months before I swapped it for an E46 325ti Compact!
