Well just got back from picking up the golf replacement & hard to believe there is under £1500 difference in them ( both 56 )
The 330d tourer has landed so we now have a delightful 6.0 litres of motoring goodness to relish
Can't wait to get at it with the buffer , sad eh ? AT pics for now http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201301164945053/sort/default/usedcars/price-from/7000/fuel-type/diesel/price-to/10000/body-type/estate/transmission/automatic/maximum-mileage/up_to_100000_miles/model/3_series/make/bmw/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/bb120hr/radius/60/page/1?logcode=p
Have to say the ride on runflats with SE spec is nothing like when i got the Z , the tourer wafts along quiet & comfy with zero twitchiness or tramlining .
Now ? to remap or not remap ??? 8)

That will have to wait . Feel like i'm hit below the water on motoring the last 3 months . Time to take stock & recover . Then some 18's & a remap should be in order . then the choice is remap 1 / 275
or remap 2 ? remove DPF + remap to 300Bhp
I can see the miles covered by the Z getting lower & lower :|

very nice! A friend of mine has an 06 330d thats been remapped. Pulls very well! Although he cant pull away from my Coupe just yet. Hes currently looking into DPF removal which when he does get it, i stand no chance

Thanks folks , I know its not the most "out there" of motors but TBH i feel like ive reached a moment in my motoring life where i feel content with what a car does for me as opposed to what it looks like to others  if that makes sense
Seriously wondering if the Z will make it to summer , its still got fuel in from when i filled it before xmas :?

How much will you want for it :fuelfire:
To you Mm £9000 , , , , to any other forum friend , , , , , £9001 :P Sitting on the fence right now , Don't want it gone but don't want a Z ornament either
Not sure how some guys manage to SORN their motors for months & months , , seems kinda pointless

I was only jesting I wish I could buy fatmikeys coilovers. Keep it you don't want to all really just wait or some better weather. Even tin top owners enjoy the sunshine right :poke:

That's a lot of car for the money, will make a great long distance cruiser

Just had a quick look on pistonheads & only 12 coupes for sale there & only 1 auto + not one under £10k :o
Makes me realise what a rare & special car they are . might take it off the charger later & actually drive it
Trying hard not to work out the cost per mile & focus on cost per smile :)

1800 braked towing is pretty good for something so light.

(i would fit a tow bar to the Z if I could)

Have often looked at/thought about a 330d tourer as a family car, though will wait til we have a family ,haha, and then the wife will still want a Merc A250 or VW Scirroco.
Good choice though...and DO NOT SELL THE Z...U WILL ONLY REGRET IT :driving:
