My Z4MC 'post bodyshop'

Looks very smooth for orange peely BMW paint :D

Is that from multiple passes with cutting compounds slowly flattening it off over all your detailing sessions!? :D

Looks fantastic either way, nice work!

How do you find Blackhole -vs SRP?

i haven't used SRP in about 4yrs??

Black hole is a bit a cheat. But tbh, i found it so easy to work with and it works to great effect. It won't last, however i'm happy to reapply frequently with the depth it produced!

Thanks all.

Dave, only had 1 day, so it was cut back hard, then glazed on a softy pad and sealed.

Personally I'd not use the 50mm for such work, its perfect lense for portrait work but due to its shallow depth doesnt always work well with other things.

As for whoever asked about DSLR's, the Canon range are easy to use, but you really should work at it, learn the settings and put some time to really use the camera to its potential, seems a real waste to buy one and leave on auto etc.

I'd go Canon if I were buying now. A nice 30D (2nd hand) and a few good lenses and you are away :D

Nikon don't (imho) get good until the D200/300, and even then the 5D is as nice (imho)

Used lots of all the Nikon/Canon and just get on with the Canon better, despite owning a Nikon myself... maybe a case of the grass is always greener?! hehe
