My Z4M + flippers

The rear Spoiler is Teckarbon.
The front flippers are made of body filler/resin mix. When i have the time i will refine it and get it made out of fiberglass. They are purely for aesthetics and screwed onto the bumper.
Other mods i have, Powerbrake big brake kit , H&R Coilovers+swaybar, Selfmade induction , Shrick 288 cams , and decat.
The car is tuned by Sal @ EVOLVE. She makes very good power and torque.
This car is my Track Toy.. I plan to do carbon fibre Airbox with ALpha N tune, full exhaust and remove some weight as well.
(Pls dont say super charge her - I have other cars , a fast supercharged car and a 650hp Turbo car. This is my NA build car.)

I have 3 sets of mags and tyres for this car, just in case i get Bored of 1 .

Did you paint your kidney grills or can you buy them like that?

I know you can get OEM (BMW Performance) black kidney grills for the 1 Series.

I Used Plasti Dip to paint the kidney Grills.
I seen the black grills on some sites for sale - ECS tuning i think.

Looks great Faheemo :thumbsup: Did the Shrick cams make a noticeable difference to power delivery / torque at different points in the rev range? I considered changing to more aggresive cams on my ///MC but it was suggested to me that the price would be snatchy driving at low revs. I have pretty aggressive cams on my Seven (see my sig) and it's lumpy at idle and difficult to manoeuvre with a cold engine. What are your other cars?

Yes i have read the z4m csl thread , it gave me alot of inspiration and ideas for my build . The cams arent very impressive on there own , but once i had the intake and remap done i had big gains. The car makes peak power at the red line on the limiter (8000rpm) and revs very sweetly to the limiter. There's no real loss at lower rpm and she idles sweetly, same as stock. I was lucky to pick the cams up cheaply 2nd hand , so for the price i paid i reckon its was well worth it. Evolve did a good job with the decat tune and the removal of the air injection. The gains can be seen here

these dyno's where not done on the same day , but they are my before mods and after mods .
I also have a comparison of a m3 csl that was dynoed on the same dyno ,

you can notice the more aggressive cams come into there own in the higher rpms.

look awesome and would cover up the fight my lower lip had with a ramp a few weeks ago....
 
Hello Faheemo, your Zed looks great and goes great too from what you say! Looks like you are losing power at lower revs with those cams but is the gain further up worth it? Do you drive it on the street too or only on track? Also can you show us some pics of your intake? :) :thumbsup:
 
Looks stunning! How about black inside the headlights instead of the silver, and some angels? hehe I have it on mine, and also considering more black on my car as well, looks great !! :thumbsup:
 
I drive it on street , but not as an everyday car.
The Intake is very simple - its a Samco E46 M3 silicone elbow mated with a short aluminium pipe the diameter of the airflow meter.
the aluminium pipe was made to accept the airflow meter.
The intake released alot of HP.
This Car is awesome @ High RPM's ... I Need to raise the Limiter a lil , waiting for Sal to sort me out.
