My Z4M coupe up for sale.....

Further to a couple of very kind comments in my for sale advert on here I thought I'd start a discussion on here regarding why she's up in the classifieds :(

Although its been an exceptionally brief encounter with a stunning car, I'm really not using the car as intended. I initially bought the car with the idea that later this year I'd start using her as a daily driver, but tucked up in the garage I fear it's a waste of a stunning car.

I've recently been in touch with an old flame (of the car variety!!) & the opportunity has arisen to take her back :trampoline:

So, unfortunately, not having the space for two garage queens the big hearted Z will have to go, which is a great shame.

We're also planning our honeymoon for next summer & I'm thinking that if I do end up buying a daily driver I may buy a convertible in which to do the drive in (we're doing the Italian lakes, Monaco, route napoleon eyc).

So there's a huge possibility that I'll be back in a Z4 next year, they are stunning cars!

Okay, I'll be the first to bite - what's the 'mistress' ? Don't leave us hanging !

Delighted you'll be in a drop top next time though :D

Bit of a sinking ship in the Exclusive Coupe Club right now...

Oh I'm not sure I should say what the other car is, you may not approve!

I see someone else has just bought a coupe though so it looks like there's still some advocates yet! Perhaps it's more of a seasonal thing? The roadsters being more on the radar in the summer months?

Oh come on! Why worry about what we think, I'm sure we all have old flames we'd be deeply embarrassed about discussing on this forum

Ok I'll bite, a Renault megane!

*disclaimer, not just any old megane.

I do quite a lot of performance & track related driving & over the last few years this has been in a Nissan gtr, which is very lucky I know!

But back in 2009 I bought brand new what was simply my favourite car ever, I Renault megane r26.r

I've kind of decided I need that car back again! It probably won't get used quite so much these days (certainly not like it did back then) but I intend to keep it for he rest of my days & look after it in both our old ages.

So yes, a Renault megane!

Come on ....... be serious .......... tell us what it really is! :poke:

If it floats your boat, then fair play. I hope you enjoy each other.

I've experienced the r26r and they are mind blowing machines... Easily one of my most memorable drives , it's like a fwd gt3 rs.

Think Blacklines had one of these in his stable when I bought the M off him last August. Picked me up in it from the station and had the full 4 point harnesses etc. Was a very fun drive to his gaff thats for sure

Yes, they're truly something else. I always thought I'd buy another if Renault released an .r version of their latest model, but as time has gone on I really don't think we'll see the likes of it again.

Yes he does, & after I let him slide my red one about a bit he let me have a go in it - full titanium exhaust & quite a machine, sooo much grip, can definitely see the appeal  Surely an appreciator too.
