what did you use to paint the hoop covers?

i was thinking of spraying mine black but am unsure whether the roof folding up and down would wear the paint out as it would be a DIY job.

+1

I wanted to wrap mine, but as i cant get the inner wind break cover off without removing the covers i'll have to paint them in situ (and cover the whole car!!)

I've used primer and mat back paint, should be no problmes whit the roof touching it , the old paint was undamaged

Looks great man.

Was it the gun smoke tint?
Does it totally remove the orange? Do you need to change the bulbs or anything or are they oem? The reverse light clearly white still?

Sorry for the questions, the orange stresses me out in my rear lights lol, this sounds like a cracking idea and come mot time it can always be peeled off!

the reverse light is red,but it's not a problem for me . The indicators still bright orange when in use, and you still can see abit of orange when they are not .

what have you done with your headlights? Have they been de-gingered or is it more handy work with lamin X? I'm really hoping you're going to say the latter as I can't face a cut'n'shut.

Cheers

how hard was it to paint the radio? :)

not hard at all, removed the face plate form radio, then pcb and all buttons , sprayed whit the primer and black paint

simple, remove air vent first, unscrue two torx screws to remove the radio, than remove 4 torx screws to release face plate, don't forget to unclip the ribbon cable , than remove around 10 torx crews and remove pcb and buttons, 10-15min job max

p.s. i'm no to z4 too

Looking bloody good. I've never been a fan of MV2s but they look great on your car.

With regards to the stance. I think it's spot on. I could see it rubbing on the roads around here but would love to have mine like this. I also don't think the rear camber is extreme. The pic parked up on the street is an optical illusion caused by the camber of the road (you can see how extreme this is on the bricks running across the street behind the car). The curve of the front of the rear arch also seems to be exaggerating the camber.

Great pics as well.
