MM I think you already called dibs on the coilovers :P

Hes due 3rd October so not long now at all! :D

Not that I'm biased or anything...but October babies are the best.

Yea id agree October babies are one of the best too! Its the month my gf was born & potentially the month my son will be :D

Anyway i finally got the standard suspension & wheels on, this is how it will look when i sell it, needs a good clean though!

Well I thought id give everyone an update as ive been poping by the forum every now and again.

Ive not had my Z4 for well over a year now. My son was born 02/10/13 and the following day I traded ithe Z4 in for an E90 330i as it was then no good to me at all! The 330 didnt stay long and in April this year I bought an E60 M5!

I gave up on the 335i idea as I couldnt find one with decent spec.

So decided id buy an M5 that came with everything I wanted as standard :-P

So heres my M5 when I bought it

And once again like the Z4 it didnt stay standard for long. Heres how it looks now

Bit harsh to trade your son in for a BMW, but looking at the final trade in you've a cracking car...

Its very practical! The boot is huge! One of the best bits are the screens in the rear head rest :-P perfect for when my som is a little older

The M5 is an awesome car! It does everything I need it to do apart from save money on fuel :-P

It meets all my expectations and keeps me on my toes constantly. Unfortunately I dont get chance to drive it properly as ive usualy got my son with me, but when I do get chance its still quick enough

Yea fuel is a killer. It runs about 13 to 16 around town, 20 ish on back roads and 25mpg on a 70mph cruise :-(

When I get the low mpg it works out about 40p per mile :-(

Haha now edited ;)

I wouldnt trade my son for anything in the world! He may be a pain in the arse sometimes, but he constantly puts a smile on my face

Colour combination is nice also.. I knew those V10 engines were thirsty but I didn't think there were that thirsty
Sound lovely though

Haha yes I do like Blue! Theres just something about it when its polished up and gleaming! :-D

Cheers Dale_B! Yes im afraid they are not great on fuel, but you forget about that when you put your foot down ;-)

Nice M5...

The fuel didnt bother me that much,it was the SMG that made me get rid of my M5..... I just hated it,gash is an understatement

I actually achieved over 30mpg on a very careful run down to Donnington park once in the M5..... At worse it was 8.8 mpg though..

Blimey mike....seeing the gloss black wheels on your zed in those pics from last year is giving me itchy feet to do my 224's
