With the help of Andy (Mr Wilks) I've finally got the 224's I bought last year on to my car and I couldn't be more pleased.

For anyone considering doing the same the key is the tyre sizes which are 215/45 on the front and 245/40 on the back. I think this is a size taller and a size narrower than standard. And no spacers on the front.

I've attached a few photos I took today which I hope you like and thanks again Andy for your knowledge and patience.IMG_0921.JPG

Wow - your car looks fantastic OP, and the wheels are a great finishing touch.

And you even managed to get someone taking a photo of it in one of your photos!

Nice! But there's no real need to put narrower tyres up front or rear, stock sizes fit fine.

They look quite small in profile :? what sizes / brands are they ?
The 215 45 front gives the comfort & reduces arch gap whilst eliminating the possibility of arch rub when pressing on

Not stock sizes for 224s though & bearing in mind the offsets + wider 9j rear the 245 40 / 215 45 combo fits & looks better on non M Zs imo

Yeah they're wider but I've got no issues with rubbing and front is hardly poking out either. Plenty of space both ends.
