Congrats on the sale John - I knew it would go to someone!

Thanks Chris. Took its time but the guy who's bought it is a very nice chap who is as particular as I am about his cars so I'm really pleased as I know it will be looked after.

is the new owner becoming a forum member?

I hope so Taz.. I've mentioned the forum to him and will be badgering him when he comes to collect on Friday to join. Would love to be able to keep an eye on it and maybe see it at a few meets in the future :)

I think you should stay away from the forum until April John, since you are now Zed-less - can one of the Mods lock his account?

Just kiddin. :yeah: :P

Great news on the sale, and the white walnut machine will look A-MAZ-ING. Can't wait to see it. :D

Haha.. Well I'm not technically zed less. I'm driving around in my mates z4m roadster until the new one comes so you can't ban me :P

I hope so, still not seen a white one with walnut in the flesh, only pictures on the net. :)

He is one lucky guy, well done on the sale! Not many sellers would go to that much effort when they have a deposit already. He'll be grinning all the way back home in that shiny beast!

Thanks Woo7dy.

Well for the sake of a few quid it will make his day extra special and memorable. Nothing like driving away in a shiny car that smells gorgeous aswell

i note its back on a standard plate

how much is a mini vallet?

Yep, standard plate went back on last week Taz..

Mini valet I had done today cost me £20 from my detailer, usually costs £30. Includes, snow foam wash, Quick detail spray afterwards, tyres dressed, interior vacuumed and de-odourised and plastics dressed. Even got some paper Auto-Glym mats.

I'll let you have a look tonight when you come and collect the new sparkly shiny things

Well.. Just watched the new owner drive away in it... Who would have thought you could be so attached to a lump of metal..

Always difficult watching an old car drive off, even when you've got a new one on its way or sitting waiting for you!

When it's a good car you want to find some way of having both, and when it's a snotter you're watching in fear that breaks down before you can run and hide!

Yep and it was a good one. It was running the best it ever has done before I sold it..

Im feeling a little better now as the new owner sent me a txt saying it was all tucked up in its new house. Still feels wrong seeing it in someone elses garage!

He also told me that he has ordered a set of summer wheels this afternoon too. He was wanting a set of CSL reps.

Really hope he decides to sign up to this place.

Oh well, only got aaaagggggeeeees to wait for the new one to arrive.

Gave bunnjoyriders M a good going over this afternoon to lift my spirits. Least I can do for him as he is good enough to let me use it until the new one arrives :)
