Its a shame people don't get on with the GT in the press because I think yes its a big barge but its not that bad looking and the interior, comfort and kit is fantastic.

Do you get a good discount on the GT as they lose so much in the first year?

That's a stunning car, congrats! I'm guessing its an all black interior??

If referring to the Z4 no, it's Red, if the GT yes it's all black with Fineline Anthracite wood trim and with the panoramic glass roof it's quite light inside when the blind is back, as Maniac said I think it's hard done to in the press, it's very well equipped as standard and as extra's I have Pro Media Package, 20" Wheels, Auto with paddles, reversing camera (rear view is crap) and sun protection glass, it's extremely comfortable and well put together and although only the 2 litre 4pot diesel with the 8 speed auto it pulls very well for its size but then I had the same set up in the F11 tourer I traded in so I knew what I was getting.

Though it was just over 2 months old I got over £10k off what it's OTR would have been, doubt if I will ever buy a new car again.

Great fleet!

Any pics of the rear of the GT? Or are you deliberately hiding it? :D :D

I like the concept of them, but went for a F11 Touring 5 Series as the rear just looks very very wrong. But I'd be interested to see if it works better in that colour or indeed if it's a facelift and they've improved things.

Lol no wasn't hiding it, it is the LCi 2014 facelift model and I like the rear view, I will take a pic of the rear tomorrow, the hatch is very heavy but it opens electrically as one unit but it can also split and the lower part opens as a boot, it's based on the 7 series floor pan so there is loads of legroom in the rear and the rear seats also recline but then the whole lot can be slid forward to give you the legroom of a 5 series and increase the boot space all very clever, I wanted a 5 series saloon but I liked the room of the F11 so this fits in perfectly for my requirements.

I think if I had a family, which I don't, or did lots of miles, which I don't.. I'd seriously consider one. ;)

I'm still hovering over a 5 saloon or touring next year... but then the new 5 is out in a year or two and who knows!

Like you I don't have a family, I won't do a lot of miles about 8k a year in the GT but will do almost the same again in whatever 2nd car I have at the time, but I do a lot of sea fishing I had the F11 as at that time I had a boat and carried things for that including fishing gear since got rid of boat but still need the room for me fishing gear, oh, and mates who fish with me, the 5 Saloon has a massive boot but it goes back a long way and reaching to get stuff out looked a back breaker to me and I could see it would be easy to scratch the rear bumper.

Well as you put it like that, it is a good looking pickup truck. :P
