My Z4 28i

That looks very neat, almost like they're not there :(

I'm made up with them! I keep looking out the office window at my car! In the flesh it just looks very smart. It's lost that "modified" look which I hated!

Thought I'd take some better pics of the side repeaters now it's clean!

So happy with this at the moment!

Thank you! I did wonder why you was sad about it!!

I think I'm going to wrap the lower front bumper bar black maybe. Hopefully have it on Eibach springs by the end of the month and I think I'll be happy with how it looks!

Time for a remap and to finish my splitter design!!

Had a great day at Brooklands yesterday!

I followed the 918 in to the event and had the 458 Speciale behind me so sorry if I ruined any car spotters pics!!

Took a few pics...

I think we must of spent too long looking around the museums as the Sports Car paddock was empty when we got back!!

Great day!

Well, thought I'd update my progress!

We found ourselves in a position to purchase our first property a few months back so the Z was nearly sold but I managed to keep hold of it! But all mods were put on hold!

After moving in I found myself wanting a mountain bike so the Z was neglected in terms of attention and very nearly swapped out for an RS3 or an A45.

After a quick oil service at BMW and then pointing out my shot runflat tyres I've fitted Uniroyal Rainsport 3's in 235/35 front and 255/35 rear, so up a width at the front and up a profile at the back. The transformation has been remarkable.

I'm now leaving bing the car again so I've finally ordered the Eibach springs which should lower the front 15mm and the rear 5mm, I've always felt the front needed dropping a bit!

The lower bar on the bumper is also being wrapped in 2 weeks time hopefully.

Once the springs are fitted I'll measure up and purchase the spacers, I want to get this car sat perfectly!

I think I've decided not to remap it... but I'm sure I'll change my mind in a months time!

Hi,
don't suppose you still have the chrome Side repeaters available? Recently purchased a 28i myself but only have the plain ones.
thanks :driving:

I got the exact same spec and colour but with black interior. I wanted red interior.
I also got a stubby aerial and wacked a private plate on.
My only other upgrade is 303 hp remap with 378 ft lbs torque form performance torque in Wolverhampton.
This has possibly brought 0-60 time down to the 4.8-5.0 sec territory . It feels as quick as a 3.4S Boxster that I had a while ago.
Only put £30 on my insurance .

I had the chrome ones painted White and have them fitted and sold the black ones! Sorry.

That power would be nice, I'm sure I'll end up getting it mapped, just wish I had of bought the 35is in the first place!

Just had Uniroyal RS3's fitted to my white 28i as it happens! I'd be interested to see how the front bar wrap comes out, i was contemplating getting that and the roof wrapped gloss black.

I've seen a fair few with the front bar wrapped and it looks great in pictures so hopefully it comes out well!

I'm not a fan of the black roof on Z4's to be honest.

Well my advise is to go further under the bar.

As had mine lower bar wrapped now for 3 yrs - but with hindsight would cover the following area.

Top Bottom
