Hi Guys As promised I said I would pop back from time to time....
Here is a picture of the new arrival - 320i M Sport - very pleased with her - 42k miles from new (2011) all the bells and whistle's A1 condition and the manual 2.0 petrol version (I didn't want the diesel or auto)

Still miss the Z and the buzz from driving it....however living in the practical world..... gigging last Saturday night was a joy all of my kit stowed and still room to spare - Hope all you guys are well - I will check in again soon as my Z went to a forum member...

Adios Zedders !!

Nice. You must be the drummer!

Had a drive in a 2010 320d saloon a few of months ago.

The 320d done 54mpg or around that sort of figure.

Acceleration was acceptable for what it is and was a decent enough drive. Certainly quick enough for motorway driving.

Was like christmas getting back into the Z though!

Cheers for the update Badger. Good to here you still have the joys of NA petrol engine and manual gear box.

Funnily enough I have just got a 320 Touring as well. But lucky for me, in addition to the Zed.

Enjoy your time on the dark side, and lets hope you can make it back - May the force be with you.

I used to go to gigs in the zed, 2 guitars, amp, cables, effects gear, etc. Not much room even using the front seat. I pinch the wife's Audi on such occasions these days :)

I just about manage gigging with my zed. 3 bass guitars. Pedal board, bits and bobs bag and amp. I then have the perfect excuse for not giving people lifts home after too :)

Good thinking. The first thing I want after a gig is get home, ditch the gear, and sink a few drinks!

Playing live is great, but there is a need to unwind afterwards.

Hi Barrie I purchased your Z4, nice to see you have stuck with the Ultimate Driving Machine, I'm sure you will love it, I'm enjoying polishing your old one, still looks stunning, I have replaced the run flats with a set of Michelins, now not such a harsh ride, planning a road trip to the South of France in the summer to get some sunshine, can't bear to sell my old 320d with nearly 250000 miles on the clock ! Happy motoring
