Both systems are loud. First one was louder than the second but both sound fantastic IMO. First system basically did away with the back box completely. There were pops and bangs a plenty it was just slightly too noisy on the motorway for me though as i spend alot of time on motorways. The second setup as I have now basically pipes up both sides independently from the mid section to the rear. I have also introduced a back box on the left hand side together with a replacement mid silencer and two booster silencers after the mid silencer. All silencers are powerflow silencers which are straight through so I have also noticed a slight increase in urgency. I also went for different exit pipes on the second setup as i feel the dtm style look better with the carbon rear diffuser.

With regards price I can't let you know what they would charge for the second setup as mine was done at cost as a favour and also as a guinea pig I suppose. I would have thought somewhere In the region of what you were quoted from the company in Birmingham.. Longlife exhausts I presume?

Hope this helps you mate :D

Here's the link to my topic for you to have a read of what I did...

Hi mate thanks for that firstly your exhaust looks great! i am tempted with getting one like your first one doncaster is 210 miles from me so it is along way but i would travel that if it was worth while price ect i dont want it really loud but im sure i read somewhere you also removed two of your cats if this is the case i guess it might be abit quieter on mine just intrested in what the sound sounded like on the first one.

How about a reverse flow muffler if you want it quieter? - as long as it's made by a skilled professional you should see very little power loss if any.

I'm contemplating getting my two straight through mufflers swapped over to one of these at www.stainless-exhaust.com in the next few weeks - in short they will build the muffler into the existing space instead of using an off the shelf one, so utilising the space available.

Braver than me. I hope you see it as a 'keeper'

The nearest to this I've ever been was an Imola Yellow Audi S4 Avant with black wheels that I owned for 4 years. Couldn't give it away when I wanted to move it on. I concluded largely down to the colour. Ended up trading it for peanuts :-(

Anyway, it looks like they've done a fantastic job on yours. Enjoy!

Now that ^^^^ works.

Rare colour so sets it apart. Looks like a track version of the Z!

Now, wouldn't go for it myself, but it's a statement.
You should get a load of G4 gear for it... :D
Z's can pull off a snorkle... ...no?

Hi thanks for the comments but it must be different in australia because i sell cars here for a living and even though they arent for all tastes rare bright colours on cars here make a premium i have a person now who would pay well over the odds for my car because he loves the colour and knows how much it would cost to get to this spec and colour i have also owned a yellow porsche before and got really good money for it purely because it was yellow and not the normal silver black ect i guess because of the not so popular if you want one they are going to fetch extra.

Aha!

You did your best to hide the registration, but is that "T4 NGO" I can just make out?

Very brave tho, it does look more up to date somehow.

I once had my triumph sprayed in a similar colour, didnt like it,for some strange reason it attracted loads of flies in the summer :?

There are two or three in that colour (or similar) in germany - Looks even better with a matte black bonnet/boot :-D

Love the colour!

Mind I had an S2000 in Imola Orange. Really turned heads whereever it went! BMW should have offered the 'M' in a couple of wilder colours as they do with the M3.
