So I decided to do some work on the Z this weekend..
1) visit garage to diagnose exhaust valve warning light and cancel the error code, so my dash is now clear again - exhaust also ok, looks like the lamda sensor set off & might need replacing next service (if error code returns)
2) up on ramps to check bushes - not bad condition all round, just the front rear wish bone bushes showing wear - will however still be replacing with a full set when lowering springs are fitted
3) de badge (sides and rear)
4) fit led sidelights + clean and grease head light casing gaskets to prevent fogging
6) remove hard top, clean soft top canvas, rear screen, and rubber gaskets - following this I used some rubber oil to grease all the soft top rubbers and gaskets with a good coating to prevent any squeaks (I ended up doing the lot, inner doors, boot, etc so pretty much all the rubber parts on the car are now squeak free!)
5) clean roof drains - got the car up in the air, removed inner arches, took the bungs out, then funnelled some soapy water through - pleasantly surprised water flowed through nicely with very little clogging showing
6) remove road tar marks from lower side skirts and front wings, t cut out minor scratches
7) full clean up with a little wax here and there + fit my new stubby
and FINALLY.. trip to tyre shop to remove nail and repair puncture I found in the rear o/s tyre - luckily enough it was repairable and only cost me £30!
Here's some pics in the sun this morning following all the hard work..

And the exhaust that I'm still undecided on..
