My Sunny Sunday :) (lots of pics)

So after all this rainy weather we've been having in SoCal, my girl and I decided to take advantage of the great sunday weather and take Kate (the Zed) on a spirited little :driving:

It went something like this....

We started off on the 10 to the 101 where my girl decided to take a few pics of a heart in the sky <3 the good thing is that in doing so she took some nice pics of Los Angeles in the background...

We then went up Tapanga Canyon Road to enjoy a nice drive behind an older Audi IS4 or RS4 i believe it is... i forget... but it was lots of fun. I decided to pull off and snap a couple of pics with my pride and joy and this is what we got...

This was the day after i detailed the exterior of the car so you can tell the paint is pretty clean and mirror like :)

Well to end the drive we went all the way accross and of course had to stop by to check out the sunset of PCH. Went to check out a big rock and tried to snap a few more decent pics.... We then went home with a smile on our faces :) it was a good Sunday :thumbsup:

I agree, unfortunately my girl was being shy because she was in her jammies knowing we would only be on the road. So there whent that idea :(

I purchased the parts off a member I believe on the other Zed Forum. I believe realoem carries them. Not exactly sure since this purchase was very unexpected and way sooner than planed.

IMO California Zeds shouldn't be allowed to post pics until the rest of the world has summer, it's far too depressing to see such nice weather and immaculate cars.

Were those pics before the storms or after? I was almost in Phoenix last Thurs when all the airports closed and I ended up on the ground for 5 hrs in Albuquerque, the news kept showing massive rain and possible mudslides in CA. Hope you and Kate made out OK...

They were after the storm. Rain ended early saturday. All last week we were on severe weather watch. I know san diego is now getting tsunamy signs all over the place.... :| Kate got me there and back no problem my friend :)

I know, its awesome having the scarf just fly out the back....feels like ur in a movie ;) I just wish someone would take a pic of that...
I need to hang around people that know how to take pictures...hopefully it rubs off :thumbsup:

I put it to you young sir, that in actual fact your girlfriend is imaginary, and that it was YOU taking pictures of "hearts" in the sky!! :D
