Leather M sports seats are nice to look at , i love the the snug fit, but it aint half killing my back, right in the arch area of the back, its been hurting ever since i bought the car 4 months ago. the electrics have been in overdrive trying to find a more comfortable position but still kills, in my previous Zed they were standard cloth seats and were extremely comfortable with no problems, so i guess its down to the firmness of the M seats . :( , anybody have the same issue ? and have you remedied it,

Doesn't look 'cool' but get yourself and small cushion for your lumber - I use one and it defiantly helps

I found changing the angle of the base helped, tipping up the front and extending the leg support, and sitting quite upright. Also getting the distance to the pedals and reach on the steering wheel correct (for me) helped.

Nothing stops my arse going to sleep though!

got to agree mate . M seats look great & for me i can't say they are uncomfortable or give me back ache ( but mine is a weekender) but they certainly aren't the comfiest sport seats ive had .
only once ive taken it to france on a decent jaunt will i know for sure whether they are genuinely uncomfy

I have the same problem. I took my dad out for a long journey in the zed the other day and when he got out he told me that was an unpleasant journey and had back ache :(

this is what i have - positioned at the small of the back for long journeys

cheers for the link

longest time behind the wheel i guess around 1 hr 20mins ? no aches but i don,t look at them & think " right , 700 miles today lets get off ! )
more " nice looking seats just glad i,m not going too far " :)
i may be wrong & find they are comfortable & supportive on long distance run's

it loops round the seat, so if you want it there all the time, just unhook the seatbelt from the seat install cushion then reattached seatbelt in the hook thing on the seat

nice one :) me personally , i have my seat angled way back like a deck chair !!!

can't do that in the coupe . i,m only 5,8 & have seat as far back as it will go without chaffing on the rear trim :?

almost certainly contributes to the back problem but its how i drive....

I understand the comments on the seats, although I find it's a combination of the seats with the suspension and rft's that makes it so.

My brother has sport seats on his a3 s line, they're pretty uncomfortable on mid to long journeys too.

stevie_514, It's definitely why you have back problems and the only reason really.

mr wilks, I'm 5'11 and my seat is no where near to touching the back trim, so if your 5'8 then I don't see why you can't position it like in the video? :?
