Well thats what the dealer tells me, they had it for one week because the offending part had to come from germany and the bank holiday monday. They also fixed a problem i had with the alarm system going off during this heavy rain we have right now, apparently all it involves is to wrap some sensors in the doors with foil 
. But as far as the roof is concerned all seems to be ok, thank god. A new mechanism has been fitted to the nearside boot lid. It was not closing correctly hence the red roof warning sign showing on the dash AND THAT ANNOYING BONG BONG. But anyway it is so good to get back into my own Z4. what a great feeling it is

-does seem $h1t tho that a car costing what they do needs foil around certain parts!
