My Ride

Getting rid of the red mirror caps and the red grill pieces and odd badging would improve it further IMHO! Whereabouts in Spain are you coming to?

Its in the shop getting painted and that includes the mirror caps - I'm leaving the red flash in the bumpers front and back as i like that. Grill stripes already removed.. And Ive already started to replace the badges, wheels done rest en route.
Murcia, 15 minutes from the port of Mazarrone. Its a nice drive from here to Portsmouth, ferry to Santander then a fairly straight forward drive to Murcia. It's around 10-11 hours ferry to apartment with a stop for Lunch.

Yes, an interesting look, and it actually cost money to get that done apparently - Still, its getting there, and all in all a good purchase I think. It will see its life out in in the sun where it's meant to be.

I have been up to Murcia twice, both times to buy a car, once for a new Fiesta for the Mrs and last year to Porsche Murcia for my mate's 911, great service from Ford and terrible service from Porsche, go figure!

This certainly is a fine location for a convertible, many more days where the hood can be dropped without feeling uncomfortable than in the UK although you hardly ever see that many convertibles with the roofs down here for some odd reason! The black colour will be easier to keep clean here too thanks too many dry days.

Next time I am down in Murcia I'll keep a look our for a RHD black Z4 with dodgy red grill bits.

yes, it was pretty dire to be honest, and getting that crap off the car was problematic. Still, it's getting there and I'm not going to complain, it was a bargain. I am tempted towards a 35 though, maybe that will be next.. Yours B21 look stunning and the list of mods is, well, huge and complex...

Thank you…I fall into the camp of ‘let’s spend ridiculous amounts of time and money …cause I can’ on my toys.. :tumbleweed:

Hopefully I won’t lead you astray!

I know it’s not popular amongst purists but my N20 powered E89 was arguably the best by far as a hooning / touring car…but as they say ‘I’ve started so I’ll continue ‘ with the 35is….

Well, im in the camp of "if you have it to spend, spend it, life is far too short" After all, the older we get the better the toys we want :)

Indeed, or the dodgy right hand drive beetle convertible with the flowers strategically placed all over it...Although it won't get much wheel time once the Z is over there in April. Drove to Portugal just before xmas in the bug, and will one looking forward to the same trip in the Z, via Rhonda of course (its obligatory and will be taking a drone next trip) as the roads are amazing and well suited to the Z i think.

Car back from the body shop today, very pleased... Looks so much better with the mirror caps in black too, and the bonnet is now perfect as is the rear quarter where id damaged the paint taking the stripes off. Badges at the weekend I think..
