No doubt not to everyone's taste but for me the perfect balance of Style, fun, performance, looks, class and in my favourite colour.

So what's yours. Not your ultimate, dream machine, but the one, that if you had the dosh, you would happily drive to the shops or to work or to a pub lunch, every time the sun comes out. :)

I have a very soft spot for the original speedster

Has to be this, for me:

I did see a hardtop, gullwing version on the road one night and it had huge presence, but I love the looks of the roadster with the red roof 8)

Thing of beauty that. I met one coming tuther way over a crest, on a single track forest lane. Think he cr#pped himself. Zed pulled up in plenty of time of course. Polite nod and we squeezed passed each other.

If you visit the Bugatti museum at Mulhouse in France you can view the collection then go out the back of the museum and drive a 356 roadster around the small oval test track for €50 or so .
After you've driven one you'll probably change your mind , it's a great little car and the one we drove was a very good example , albeit a roadster and not a speedster, but it was still rubbish .
They offer other cars too , a 3000 Healy , c1 corvette, mondial etc , all good examples and available for short test laps or half day tours .
I'm 54 this year so I've driven all sorts over the years , not some spotty teenager without a clue by the way

No such thing as the perfect car, which is why people who buy the cars above only keep them for 1 or 2 years. They get bored with them and move on to the next 'perfect car'. Collectors who own the classic Porsche's, Bugatti's etc., keep them as an investment and rarely drive them. The grass is always greener...

Possibly just me. But I buy my cars and then keep them until they are no longer viable to maintain. Never yet sold one because I was bored with it? :D

Love it but make mine a manual coupe please.

I was actually looking at V8 manual coupes, when I spotted this one. Not sure they do the V12S in manual. If so then yes that would be even better. Though still the drop top for me. As there would also be other, more compromised cars in a perfect garage, for track, off road and tip runs.

I don’t think they made many:

https://www.evo.co.uk/aston-martin/v12-vantage/17742/aston-martin-v12-vantage-s-manual-review-putting-the-driver-back-in

The early V8s are almost cheap in coupe form now, starting at £25k...

They're really tempting at £25k-ish...if you have it for 4k miles a year then this or a low miles Z4MC or 997.1 C2S....quite a tough choice

Cali T.....the worst Ferrari ever. Shame on you all :headbang:

:? How is the Cali T the worst Ferrari ever..? It’s a sizemic shift up from the N/A one, then there’s the 400i, 348, Testarossa....cars of that ilk....etc etc, they’re pretty nasty for a Fezz.
