Well as I am sure you can tell by my signature I like my MGB's! I have just finished a v8 conversion and thought I would share it with you. I know quite a few people on here have had MGB's so this might be of interest.

It's just some pics and video of the first trips out in the car. It took around 3 years to build, and I have done all of the work apart from the bodywork and chassis strengthening. This is my 5th MG and now my favourite just for the noise at 3000rpm....

Enjoy!

p.s Opinions and comments more than welcome! Good or bad!
p.p.s I have just got a hardtop for it, but it is white. What colour do you think will be best, black or body colour?

very nice

i've said before, to me my coupe is a modern mgb, i would like to have it wrapped british racing green just like your sig

Terrific...I had a chrome bumper roadster when I was younger.....like driving a tractor but fantastic experience.

Original hardtops came in black, black, oh and a lovely shade of black LOL

I was born in Abingdon and watched the factory being ripped down some years ago. The only thing left is the office where Cecil Kimber used to work (I think the MG club is based there now but you probably know better than me). :( The original Morris Garages building in St Aldates Oxford is now the Courthouse!

Bobbydm: Nice vid mate; the car sounds and looks absolutely awesome, and is a total credit to your efforts !! 8) I can`t get over the sound of it, and no wonder you cite the soundtrack as one of your favourite things about it !

Here`s a quick pic of my baby; straight inline 4 with puny standard 1.8 engine that sounds nothing compared to your beast, but still entertains me every time I drive it !

encee, Beautiful GT, I do love wires! A bitch to clean and poor brake cooling performance but hands down the best looking!
WLH, Thanks!!! I love the sound too, I am using any excuse to drive it at the moment!
