My other car is a..........

I have Z4 for me and Audi A5 coupe for family and kids.
I like it due to color, look and smooth driving.

Used to have a Polo Gti as my daily. Don't need a daily anymore, just use SWMBO's Clio

Plus, don't have room for 3 cars in Edinburgh.

Couldn't find a pic of my Polo, so here's a similar one

Was a nippy little car. 125bhp in a car that weighed roughly the same as a bag of quavers

E Class estate that I can't ever imagine having the urge to photograph but it does a fantastic job of soaking up motorway miles

My 2009 Carrera S, a wonderful driver. Pic taken the day I purchased it .... Porsche (British) Racing Green...a very rare colour on a 911

My 2002 Boxster S, the tall woman who rules here states " I need the convertible, you can't sell it". (I wasn't thinking of selling it but we won't tell her that   )
the red car in the garage is my A6 (leased through my company and I won't need it after this winter so "Leasebusters and awayyyyy"

I thought it was a great first car until I saw what some of you lot are running around in.

2005 Jaguar S-Type 4.2 V8 Sport. 6 Speed Auto. Black. Ivory/Grey two tone leather. Sport suspension. Aluminium trim (no wood), Prins sequential injection LPG conversion.

I have had it for 5 years/ 80,000 miles and still love driving it. A smooth and powerful crusier with very good handling for a big/heavy car thanks to the sports suspension. Also surprisingly economiocal to run with the LPG conversion.

Here it is in wedding livery earlier this year.

It is such a contrast to the Zed that I think they are a perfect combination!

westfield its only 175ish bhp so not the fastest but fun all the same.. i thought i ought to own something practical so bought the Z

Interesting you should say that since my Westfield is my practical car and my Zed the indulgence :P

2001 BMW Z3 1.9 Sport, just turned 26K, used now as a winter car however will be leaving me early next year for a more practical motor :(
Hasn't missed a beat over the past 5 years, its not fast being the 8V 118bhp model but has been thoroughly enjoyable to own. I would say BMWs of this era are definitely better build than the current models and compared to my E89.

Tim.

Nice, but what does it say on the wheel badges?

Ooh we're looking at an Abarth convertible at the mo'. I understand they've just started doing a manual version on the vertible, but being newer it's gonna be more money. How do you find the sequential gearbox? I will drive one soon but I do love a clutch-me!

What would you consider "must have" options on the Abarth?

Lovely looking cars btw!

Like: Performance and looks
Dislike: Sequential gearbox, hence I know I would never have a DCT

Polo as the runabout:

Like: Can park it
Dislike: Keep knocking my knees against the centre console.

Golf Clipper which was the first convertible we bought and never sold:

Still alive and kicking, just barely worth mentioning and besides I don't have photographs of it with me in Oz :)
