My other car is a...

Had mine since 2011, just ordered a set of KW V3's for it as the mag ride shocks have given up. Revo Stage 1 414bhp and 430lbs/ft2.

I’m retired now, so all 3 of these are my play things. My wife has a 120d sport as her daily driver.

Love the Beta Coupe! My dad had one back in the late 70's. Powder Blue with orange velour seats and went like stink. Unfortunately when it was parked up, if you listened carefully you could hear it rusting away. I believe it went back to Lancia (it was a company car) and he ended up with a 2.0S Capri in JPS black and gold 8)

We have a Discovery 4 which Mrs R uses during the week and we use at weekends to transport large hound.

We also have a Mini Cooper S which I use to get to the station and back during the week. Mini will go next year when I retire.

Zed everyday
Real sports car for summer and a lil bundle of fun
for....well.... fun

Should be this, when it's *deep breath* finished....

Oh, did you actually do the deal on that then? Amazing!
Yeah, bit the bullet.
Hammered him right down and got it for €3500 including a massive haul of new parts.
I capitalised on the fact that he desperately needed the space.

Mechanically its solid. Engine and driveline are tiptop. It drives fantastic. No issues, so exactly the kind of project I was looking for - mainly cosmetic stuff.
But there are problems with the electrics and that’s why it’s sat so long. So that will be the biggest challenge. If I can sort that first I’ll then focus on the cosmetic stuff. Otherwise I’ll flip it forward.

You've done very well there! I was following your thread with interest as I'm in process of designing a garage/workshop and one day will need something to put in it!

Oh crikey, ofc, I should update that thread. Totally forgot about it!
Garage plan sounds nice.
I rented a lockup close to me to store it and after xmas moving to a bigger one with space and more importantly, daylight and heat, so I can crack on with it. Enough time to research all those typically fekin complex electrical schematics!

Yes, unfortunately they had a bit of a reputation for crumbling apart but mine was waxoyled from new and it’s only done 66k miles and pretty rust free, they are quite rare now but the values are still very low unlike the Ford Capri.

The Z4 is actually my daily, but the below is my toy! (excuse the mess in the barn!)

Not actually on the road yet, but very close - I've been building it with my Dad as Cobras are his dream car and I couldn't resist.

It has a 5.9L V8 so should be pretty lively!

I like that a lot. If I had the time, I’d be building a Cobra too.

I had this delivered to me earlier in the week, XFR 5L V8 with 510BHP 107K and one owner. Will do me for a few months.

Had it MOT'd this morning and have a new ticket with no advisories.

I can at least say I have owned a V8 now :D
