My Old Car. Sad

Was this the one that ended up down a bank? I would have bought it and sold the parts would have made a tidy profit and learned a few things no doubt!

Don't rub it in! :headbang:

Sorry :( It wasnt meant in bad way, the vid was pretty impressive... and brave.. me and dad thought you were for putting it up anyway! These things happen nothing you can do! Least you got a nice new one :) and obviously that you were ok.

Wouldn't kick yourself too much. Getting £5k for all the parts would probably be harder than it first seems.

It would have been worth keeping just to remind me what can happen when the Traction control has been turned off!

Why is it a cat c? Looks like only minor damage.... Interior looks mint still, no airbags deployed etc :?

Unless is the rear axle bent, the wheel looks a bit crooked.

Anything more than cosmetic will be Cat C...

This looks like some structure damage, bent axle etc. Saveable though

Surely the car is only worth that amount now if it were repaired with Cat 'C' status, seems well over priced.

it would of been worth buying back at 5k.

at the current price, i cant see many takers. looks like at least 2k worth of work to me and it will still be a cat c

I presume you meant with the ESP off as our traction control is our LSD which we can't turn off. :idunno:

Still trying to work this out since I bought mine.

Expensive! No money to be made at that price.

Agree. I notice it got listed on ebay at £8,750 & it has just sold! I for one (just for fun) will be keeping an eye open for it in the usual places to see what happens to it. I can’t imagine it would be cost effective to put it back on the road (unless bodged!) If it goes for parts, there are a few bits I would quite like myself!

for the rough prices of parts that i do know...
£800 for seats
£300 for steering wheel
£500 for wheels
£400 for headlights
£100 for tail lights
£50 for repeaters
£200 for front bumper
£300 for roof motor
£200 for the roof
£300 for piano dash
£500 for nav bits

that's already £3,650 and the engine is defintely worth more than £1,350. So you can make a healthy profit by breaking it...
