my old boot brake light

Having my new third brake light being fitted by bmw tomorrow - know it's a lot cheaper to do it myself but if they break it or it cracks afterwards I should get it replaced for free ( hopefully this won't happen  )

The old one has a very small bit missing from the corner - you can see in the picture below - hardly noticeable - I;ve had the car 7 months and only just noticed it myself.

If anyone wants it they're welcome to have it for the cost of postage ( assuming they don't break it taking it out )

i'll take it off you! a few more bits have dropped off mine recently. I'll drop you a pm.

Greeno seems to have won by a whisker - sorry Toe-side :(

I'll PM you tomorrow if they can get it out without further damage.

Yes they are MM's exhaust tips - I've actually pushed them back a bit since taking this picture so they don't stick out so much - am really pleased with the look.

Greeno - Don't worry to much about what the postage is - can't see it being a lot - make an equivalent donation to Forum instead ( you don't live in Australia do you ? )

Cheers gov,

Toe-side, we could have a "whose light is worse" comp. winner gets gov's. i'd put your money on mine

Sounds like you have the worst one. I have already got a repaired one. I was hoping to perfect my repair techniques

Really sorry guys - seems I was a bit premature offering it up - BMW reckon it was also cracked in the centre and fell apart when they removed it :( :(

I have to say the new one does appear to be more substantial - may be they've changed the spec because of how many have cracked.

Sorry again Greeno

Tony

Mine also fell apart when I removed it (clear one I bought just 1 year ago). it was cracked at the back.

Yes they get really stuck in position and can be a destruction job to get out.
Never mind the thought was there Gov
