My new zed :-)

Very nicely done Adamski. She looks a beauty and you'll not be disappointed with a roof. Stunning.

We are talking about the so called performance pack :poke:

Ah I see. I've just read up on this and it seems any theoretical loss of performance due to the extra weight of the immense metal roof is canceled out by the improved aerodynamics that the smooth (ie. solid, non moving, fixed, claustrophobia inducing) roof has over flappy human hair.

Nice car Adamski and good find all the way down to the smoke - that's the way to get the right car, distance no object approach  (I flew to NI and drove back with mine).

any interior pics?

Here's one I've just taken, it's snowing and overcast here, so the light isn't great

Snowing? Where??? But then I'm still in my bed so haven't dared look outside yet. Thanks for the heads up. I'll stay in bed ALL day!

But gorgeous! I love the E86, was never a fan of the E85 and I still want to get a Z3 M Coup at some point. Other half hates them, I love em!

I'll know it's you as there are around 2 E86s going about. Both are just standard and grey. You'll stick out like a sore thumb!

I'm in Meigle just now but heading back to Edinburgh later

Just wish today had been dry. Wet roads aren't a good thing when trying out a new car :(

Phew! Not like I'll be going anywhere it's supposed to be horsing it! If yesterday is anything to go by and the sound outside if say it's a monsoon outside!

Enjoy the trip but yes wet weather in such a beautiful beast is not great. I had that last week too and unfortunately the only other day I got out I was stuck behind grannies in their Hondas :(

We need some decent weather like now!

I feel a mini Edinburgh meet coming along :)

Does that include the grannies in their Hondas? But yes I think that might be on the cards once the weather turns. Now McDs or a halfords car park lol!

Congrats Adamski! So does that mean were the only 2 ///M coupe forum members in Scotland?

Something tells me that you seeing me buying mine made you see the light lol! :poke:

I think there are a few non active Scottish M owners. There's a dude in Edinburgh with an Imola Red Coupé and AliV6 in Aberdeen had (or might still have) a Coupé like mine.

It's fair to say there can't be many of us

Has Alex Salmond promised to half your VED if you vote yes

A meet is definitely in order so whenever someone decides to arrange something let me know :)
Unfortunately seeing this has made me want new wheels. Yesterday! Lol

Very nice Adam. I did think you would end up in an M, when you look at the competitors at the same price point it makes sense. Did you get it from a BMW dealer?
