My new Z4...

So after my short lived ownership of my Z4 and battling my insurance company (and finally winning) I stepped away from BMW and have gone for a TT 2.0 TFSi convertible.

Finished in Dolphin Grey with extended Magma Red leather, it's well loaded with options and 2 years newer than my Z was. Better on fuel, but less raw than the Z but it's been an enjoyable 3 months ownership thus far.

Ha, this one has been a peach, do wonder if that Z was a slight lemon. All serviced and consumables spot on with this

I even got a sunny summer to use it in!

Interior is a world apart from the Z4 I had, more car like and spacious too. Having a crash in a Z makes you realise how little space between the seat edge and door there is in the event of a side impact. It's also nice to have a gear change that is sweet and working unlike the old 3.0 gear change.

Down on power against the Z but being turbocharged I genuinely haven't noticed it too much as they both deliver the power differently. Lack of RWD - we can discuss that during the winter months lol
