My new Z4

Hello.
Long time stalker on the forum and (fairly) new owner of a little silver 2.0 Z4.
Very happy with it too .... even if it does wreck my dodgy back when it crunches over the Scottish potholes!
Scotland, in case you don't know, is the world-leader in potholes ..... both in numbers and depth.
Can't tell you how much help I've already had from the forum posts.
It's just a brilliant resource for new owners and those thinking of taking the Z4 plunge.
Ian.

Hello Ian and welcome to the forum, that looks like a lovely zed you have there

Good morning Ian, and welcome aboard.
Looks a nice little motor you have there.
Always good to start off with photos and kind words about the forum.
Hopefully you'll be like me, once the ice is broken, just keep on chipping in.

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm genuinely very grateful for all the knowledge I've gained reading the hundreds of posts that people take the trouble
to share. Most cars are just so functional these days but it's obvious that most people love their Zeds. I like the quirks of the Z4 and chose a little 2.0l as I'm long past being speed orientated!
I've already done all the usual stuff ..... and I'm just working my way through sorting the bits 'n bobs with it.
But most of all just enjoying owning it.
Ian

What a nice tidy looking Zed. Here’s hoping you have many enjoyable miles (when we can) and look forward to any updates.

Welcome to the Forum. Smart looking car too in one of my favourite colours. I agree with your comments. Since joining the Forum I have had lots of help and advice.

Welcome from the other end of the country. :) Just as wet but I suspect less Pot Holes. Neat looking little Z4 you have. 8)

Welcome to the forum, Ian.

Your car is looking good, and there can't be too many 2.0i models with M-Sport seats and steering wheel.

Welcome to Z ownership and the forum from a fellow Scot now in NZ. Well done on posting a photo with first post, nice looking car which I am sure you will have great fun with. Cheers.

welcome along! with regards to pot holes, i see you're on 18s.. have you ditched the run flats for normal tyres?

You could even properly buck the trend and go down to 17s, and waft along on nice 45 profile tyres... should be able to pick up a set of daisies with tyres for just £100.
